Chevy Tahoe 5.3 - Liqui Moly Mos2 additive?

Maybe this is an edge case, but generally I'm of the opinion that motor oil is already engineered to lubricate as well as possible with current technology.

    Building the perfect 90

After a few days of curing, the paint was ready for buffing. I started with 3D ACA 510, a fast cutting compound with no fillers, on (mostly) wool pads of various sizes. I worked on this tedious stage for about two days, switching pads and machines often since some areas required large pads, and...

    magical sparkle flares

Don't think the gray sanded eyebrows will ever look like the satin black. Once plastic goes gray from UV, it stays that way unless treated with one of the plastic blackening detail type sprays, but those need reapplied periodically, and once they're applied it makes the plastic much harder to...

    magical sparkle flares

For rattle-can option, I've used the SEM and Dupli-Color adhesion promoters with success. If using a professional paint system from PPG, Wanda, Autmotive Art, etc, they offer their own adhesion products that work well.

    magical sparkle flares

Paint and sparkle? Are they only spattered with paint? The sparkle in paint comes from the metallic flakes, and on raw plastic the sparkle comes from the glass fiber reinforcement (if present). Best bet to get both looking good would be to clean both, scotch-bright, apply adhesion promoter, and...

    Frame Repair

Cut a patch from steel sheet a bit larger than the hole and secure it with a few self-tappers. At least, that’s what those Limeys did with my last chassis. How do you say “That’s not going anywhere” in British?

What have you done to your DEFENDER today?

Once the preload is set on the inner nut, and the washer is bent over it, the nut should be incapable of spinning unless the washer spins, and the washer can't spin because it's locked to the stub axle by the flat seen here in #15.

    200 TDI Noise

Welcome! Sounds like a rattle. I’d get underneath and check every nut, bolt, and bracket in that area. Could just be something loose.

Land Rover Experience Centers add Defenders

Easy to see how the 95 would peak interests compared to the models everyone sees everywhere in CA. Too bad the older models are phased out now. Always wanted to visit one of those centers and was too busy last time I visited Carmel. New Range Rover Experience Center?

    Building the perfect 90

Coating galvanized surfaces definitely requires careful process. Alkyd, oil, and even some so-called “epoxy” coatings are a waste of time on galvanized surfaces, often saponifying and flaking off within weeks. Saponification requires zinc, moisture, non-neutral ph, and various esters/fatty...

    Building the perfect 90

The strategy I used was to set the new and old bulkheads side by side to compare measurements and didn't find any major differences. I've drilled a few holes but that's the extent of my modifications. You're right though, fitting panels before paint often saves headaches.

    Building the perfect 90

Prep the epoxy, quick! Remember to clean up the bench later.. I don't have photos of what happened next, but image you've spent countless hours cleaning and sanding, the epoxy is ready to spray, you begin wheeling the bulkhead to the spray tent, the stand collapses because you're an idiot who...
